With a professional background in Business Management and Commerce,  Joyce Fuerza is the President & Founder of Joyce Fuerza Productions Inc., a company that focuses on Audiovisual production, as well as Event production & planning since 2014. Joyce is also well known for being a Television & Multimedia Host, a Producer, and she speaks five languages.


Throughout her career, ​Joyce has been featured in The Gazette Newspaper, Global News, The Morning Show, Radio Canada International, Le Journal de Montréal, Los Angeles Magazine ShoutoutLA, New York based Kreyolicious Magazine, Washington DC's District Empire Entertainment, Toronto Snapd Newspaper, New York Creativ Magazine,  Portuguese newspaper LusoPresse, Hey Latino TV, Camoes TV, Lusaq TV, among others.

Through her role as the Executive Director for Strategic Developement, Partnerships & Programming for diverse Film Festivals across Canada, in Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Calgary, Ottawa and Vancouver, Joyce has fostered strong partnerships,  served on several juries,  been a guest speaker at many panels, and a delegate at national &  international film festivals such as TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL - TIFF, AMERICAN BLACK FILM FESTIVAL - ABFF , HOTS DOCS, LOS ANGELES PAN AFRICAN FILM FESTIVAL, among others. With over a decade working in the film industry, Joyce continues to work with and foster great relationships with filmmakers, producers and film distributors worldwide.


With over 10 years of experience in front of the camera as a Television and Multimedia Host, Joyce has gone from being a red carpet  Entertainment Reporter, to being the Master of ceremony & Live Event Host for many corporate, cultural and charity events. It did not take long before she produced and launched  her first talk-show "The Joyce Fuerza Show" in 2014 with two successful seasons filmed in New York and Montreal. The show offered a platform where successful high profile entrepreneurs and individuals from different industries shared their experiences in the hopes of empowering viewers. Joyce later landed a Television Hosting gig in Portuguese for the Television Program Lusaq TV, broadcasted on  ICI Television in Canada. Not too long after, Joyce was a host for the Television Program 'Ottawa en Musique' broadcasted on Bell Fibe TV1 where she interviewed francophone music artists from the Quebec scene. Following her great passion for discovering new cultures & traditions, Joyce is now on a journey to host culinary shows, featuring national and international chefs, restauranteurs, cooks, from diverse backgrounds to share their traditional dishes & cultures with the world.​


To build on her assets and skills, Joyce has gotten training in film Production, Screenwriting, and Filmmaking at Canadian institutions such as L’INIS, Main Film, and D.A.M. In 2020, Joyce embarked on directing her first short film titled ‘KAMILA’, which she co-wrote, and produced under her production company. She is honored to have been selected and accepted into the NATIONAL FILM BOARD OF CANADA’s (NFB) Filmmaker Assistance Program (FAP) to finalize the post production phase of her film. Through its national and international film festival run, the film has already received an HONOURABLE MENTION RECOGNITION.

Joyce has had the honor to be a Keynote Speaker at McGill University's PowerSkills Career Summit (by McGill Career Advising and Transition Services, School of Continuing Studies at McGill University) where she gave her insights on How to Create Your Own Opportunities, sharing her professional experiences, personal journey, and perspectives.

Admired for her enthusiastic, dynamic, and outgoing personality, Joyce has  always wanted to make a positive impact on other people’s lives. Joyce's goal is to continue empowering and inspiring others by her story, journey, career path and knowledge. She continues growing her production company, in Audiovisual production
, as well as Event production & planning. She also continues to maximize her presence in front of the camera, hosting, producing Talk-shows and other content, as well as contributing to existing shows that educate and empower. With her ability to speak 5 languages, Joyce is constantly expanding her work internationally to reach a bigger market.
